Question: the way I was taught was to burn the curry in the pot then add the meat and the meat then will take on the curry once added to the pot. My granny said we do it for ppl who stomach can’t take the curry. Idk if this is even true 😂. My question is, if you burn the curry in the post but put the raw curry on the meat then it would still upset ppl’s stomach no?

You can absolutely do it that way as well. However, I didn't want to hit the lobster with heat twice to make it rubbery. It's also easier to do it this way 😁 But if I'm doing my chicken or goat I most definitely prefer to sear it in the curry 😁

I use a small amount of curry powder on the seafood. The larger amount is 'burned' in the oil. Also some of us cooks add the ginger to help the ppl dem wid stomach problem 😄

You can also leave out the curry when seasoning the seafood and just burn it in the oil 💖
