I can't believe you didn't show us a "water test" of this good-looking glide bait. For me, swimming performance is virtually EVERYTHING!

I’m learning so much from your films over here in the UK and really helping me start up with lure building. Thanks buddy

How did you attach the 2 halves of the bait with the wire? Are they glued in?
@HayesR.J.6 күн бұрын
I was curious too.

That shad looks so good, you feel like you would have to wash your hands after you touch it. The paper towel idea was exactly what you needed and was a great idea. You will destroy the bass with this one

I was wondering what size eyes did you use? I am building this as my first ever bait and I am curious on what size MM eye to order. Thanks!

Just came across your channel nice work. Saw the initial build as well. Did you include the exact dimensions and how much lead you used? Would like to see it swim.
@BakerBuilds2 жыл бұрын
I don't have exact dimensions other than the pattern, the lead can vary from bait to bait depending on how it was carved or how dense the wood is. Fishing video when we get some good weather, everything is frozen right now haha

Recently found your videos. Amazing stuff! I saw the build video for this bait and noticed you used the minwax polyurethane. Do you ever run into issues using the water based air brush paint over the oil based polyurethane? Keep up the great work!
