I painted my little houses cream, added glitter and gold accents. I made a village with trees and village people. I actually own a large Christmas village that I collected for years....but I rarely pull it out anymore since we travel to spend Christmas with our grandchildren every year! I stick with my Dollar Tree decor!!

I love all your wonderful ideas for Christmas Kathryn. But I sure wish someone would decorate with Thanksgiving in mind. I love Thanksgiving and its meaning to be grateful for all that we have whether it's family, friends, fur family etc. I enjoy just sitting at a full table looking at my grown children and remembering when they were little. I'm doing vintage Christmas this year too. I ordered from Temu some metal Christmas signs and I'm flabbergasted how gorgeous they are when they arrived. I got an antique beige one that has the opening line from twas the night before Christmas, with a vintage tree, cute mouse and stocking printed on it. Its beautiful and looks so antique. I have it displayed on a distressed plate holder/easel and I'm in love. I also got the metal vintage santa face & the print & coloring is stunning. Both were only 1.50 each. Something like that in the antique store would be like 15.00 or more easy.

Great idea with the orange rose ice cubes. And I have one of those solar fairy light lanterns, and I love it. I have it hanging on my patio amongst all my potted plants, and at dusk, it comes on, and all the little lights make my patio look magical. Love it!😊

Thanksgiving doesn’t have much decor to it, and it’s so close to Christmas most people, including me would rather enjoy the beautiful Christmas decor as long as possible. Especially since it’s so dark this time of year, Christmas has beautiful lights. Most people celebrate Thanksgiving, it’s a day to get together.

I know it’s kind of late but I haven’t seen the stackable presents, the snowman or the tree at my dollar tree. So beautiful to make high end. We live in mountains in the Carolina’s. The wind this time of the yr is 😝. Our first Christmas here to experience this. We are having to put dirt in my pots out front so my Christmas trees won’t blow over. Everything looks so beautiful❤🤗

Those pretty fluted bells! I wasn't going to buy Christmas decor this year, but those fluted bells got me. I think I'll look for metallic spray paint to dress up the cheap plastic, although your cloche idea made the bell look special. I'd love to see Biltmore in all its Christmas glory, but at $125 per person I'll have to settle for a video. I'm still enjoying my autumn decor with stacked pumpkins and fall foliage, but gotta get a jump on Christmas crafting. My Christmas decor goes up right after Thanksgiving so time is running short.
