Those look great! I braided my hair a week ago, but not as small, so there isn't a much volume and is a little scalpy. Question: how many sections do you have going across the front? I have 4 parts on either side at my hairline for a total of 8 sections.

Thank you! I have a total of 12 sections going across the front, and I usually have my hair starting off in 6 bantu knots, three being on each side of my head.

@@EtherielleHB Oh this is good to know. Thank you! Once I take these out and see how they've faired in terms of tangling or not, I can determine whether or not to install them with more sections. I wet my hair daily in the shower so it might effect the outcome 😊

Sooo nice! I’ve been doing mini braids since 2020 for protection and retention. I’ve learned to twist the bottom to help the with the take down. But my goshhhh, I don’t know if I can do the that mini 😅😭😩😩😩😩

Hey! Love the name btw! No worries, you don't have to do them as small as I did, I just found that it gives me more volume when I do my mini braids like this

But lately I’ve been doing medium to keep under wigs, but still have access to my scalp and biweekly wash/deep conditioner. I love mini twists, but they wouldn’t last 3 weeks let alone the 3months I prefer my mini braids.

@@notyouraveragejoe7003 You have a really great method that you're doing, I know you MUST be retaining a lot of length! Exactly! Mini twists are a no-go for me as well. My hair is always quick to lock in those. Mini braids all the way!

What is the name of the butter and the oil? Sorry it was hard to hear you with the music but I like the video

The butter is a mix of illipe and mango butter(I call it malipe butter) and the herbal oil mix is a mix of dried herbs, olive oil and avocado oil, lavender, tea tree and neem oil. (I know it sounds like a lot but I promise you it's a lot easier than what it sounds like!) :)

No prob! :) I have tried mini twists and the longest that they last on my hair is about a month for me which is why I do mini braids. I don't really know for sure, I haven't blow dried my hair before doing mini twists before, but it probably does. The only downside I could see to it is that they might unravel a lot on blow dried hair.

LAWDY!!! I just finished removing some micro braids (no extensions) and it took me THREE WHOLE weeks!!! THREE, and that is becaus ei took my time!!! NEVER EVER that small again!!! I will do mini braids NOT micro!!! 😅😅😅

Hi, thanks for sharing. My hair is at that length where it's the awkward stage but I'm one of those people who see a lot of growth with extensions and wanted to us it for the look. It was a bit hard to follow what you were saying about how you added the extension hair. Were you saying you did like a feed in braid technique with your mini braids? Edited: what hair did you use?

Hey Natural Me, I used Marley hair and what I did was I braided my actual hair into a complete braid first, then I added the extension to it. I'll also be making a video on how I did it soon so you'll be able to see what I did and also how I took care of it as well.
