Thanks Janice! I think it is very easy to overthink and over-plan our art because we want everything to be perfect. I totally get that. For me I have found the more open I am to the process the looser and more expressive my art becomes. Of course not everything turns out but I try to remember that is part of the process as well. Good morning Pam. Your creativity process is so very exciting to watch! I wish I could have a fourth of your creative energy, love it! I have a question, would you seal the flower balls since it’s pastel(once it dries?) I know we can seal it or not. I am just wondering if you do?

You are so kind Lisa, thanks! In general, when I am working in an art journal I don't worry as much about sealing the soft pastels as I would if I was working on a canvas. That being said, if I don't want it to smear or come off I would seal it. So sometimes I seal it and sometimes I don't. Hope that helps.

It was probably Bone Black--I think Liquitex & Golden both make it.
