I love the improv nature of this exercise. I really need to stop planning everything and just do it! Thanks for inspiring me.

Thanks Janice! I think it is very easy to overthink and over-plan our art because we want everything to be perfect. I totally get that. For me I have found the more open I am to the process the looser and more expressive my art becomes. Of course not everything turns out but I try to remember that is part of the process as well. Anyway, glad you were inspired. Thanks for letting me know.

Good morning Pam. Your creativity process is so very exciting to watch! I wish I could have a fourth of your creative energy, love it! I have a question, would you seal the flower balls since it’s pastel(once it dries?) I know we can seal it or not. I am just wondering if you do?
@pamhemmerlingАй бұрын
You are so kind Lisa, thanks! In general, when I am working in an art journal I don't worry as much about sealing the soft pastels as I would if I was working on a canvas. That being said, if I don't want it to smear or come off I would seal it. So sometimes I seal it and sometimes I don't. Hope that helps.

Pam, what is the transparent black paint that you used? Thanks!
@pamhemmerling4 ай бұрын
It was probably Bone Black--I think Liquitex & Golden both make it.
