I never tire of your mixed media projects. I simply love this one. Purple is a favorite color of mine and the spring flowers as well. My lilac bushes are just beginning to open and I am reminded of them with this project.

I always get so many ideas from your videos! I have some old 7 Gypsies shadow boxes in my stash (that I've been going through and just couldn't part with) and now I have some great ideas! I was thinking of doing a mini album for my grandson as a "thank you" card for visiting and filling it with photos of our last visit with a "thank you taking a walk," thank you for going swinging, thank you for taking us out to dinner, thank you for taking us to your mud kitchen.... and now I can do it in a shadow box!!

This is a beautiful project! I just love the little details you add, like the leaves sticking out from the notches. Thank you so much for the hint about using cardboard at the back of the focal points! What a great idea! I have seen it done with chipboard but it makes much more sense to use cardboard. Just lovely!
