I would crochet the puff stitch rows till they come up on your foot to the place where here's go to. Then do the crochet double crochets around till they go down far enough on your foot as well. May take an extra row or one less. These basically can be customized to the foot size of your choice and even a child's foot. You could also use a smaller gauge yarn for a child's slipper. I'd use a #3 or #4 for a child's slipper.

Вначале, чтобы получить 8 пышных столбиков, нужно набирать не 15, а 18 петель цепочки.

Заканчивать ряд лучше столбиком с накидом, а не пушистым столбиком, чтобы было удобнее набирать потом столбики по краю для дальнейшего вязания.
