Just when I think I've seen a great informative cooking episode..along comes Mama Bates to just add "enough sugar" with her personality and her most humble way about her to draw me into the episode.. I've NEVER enjoyed a cooking show more!! Zach...you sure have come a long way since you first started the channel. I'm drooling! This is one of the best recipes you have taught on your channel! I love that it doesn't have a lot of ingredients, or steps in the process of making it. I will be making this one for sure! Heck, I will even give you guys the credit! I have, in the past, jokingly claimed a recipe was my own creation. When I was growing up this was the only type of cheesecake I knew. I was very surprised when I had my first "real" cheesecake. I like both types, but there sure ain't nothin' wrong with this one. I was off of work for the last week and have made three of your recipes. 😂. This was a favorite on Thanksgiving! I made this with Oreo topping on one and then a “snicker” type topping with Hershey chocolate chips and peanuts and chocolate and caramel drizzles! Thank you so much for sharing!! Also, the Mac and cheese recipe! 👌🏻. Literally just made the baked potato soup and also huge compliments! Keep the recipes coming!! I always add peanut butter in with the filling and then do chocolate topping and crushed oreo or nutter butter crust. Yum! I wonder if Mrs Bates remembers the taste of home game where you had to find the hidden sewing needle somewhere in the magazine and then you'd be entered into a drawing of some sort lol. Just a tip if you use a dry measure cup it is more accurate and a rubber spatula makes it easier to transfer without waste. Unless you have someone to lick the bowl😅

I made the cheesecake and it was delicious and a hit with my co-workers. I had to make it gluten free and so I used a premade GF graham crust. For one of my co-workers I used Swerve confectioners powder instead of regular. And I used the unsweetened coconut since there was the caramel and chocolate drizzle. I had to make it the night before taking it and was afraid the toppings wouldn’t do well in the fridge but it didn’t affect them thankfully. So this is a keeper of a recipe. So easy and delicious. Thank you for sharing it.
