How the hell do you get the sticky pad off?? Alright so I peeled the damn thing off my dashboard and raised the lever but I cannot get that sticky pad away from the mount. What am I doing wrong?

I have one been having it for about almost a year but now the suction is coming off from the plat form. I believe because it's been getting hot lately but it's Texas weather you never know what your going to get. Have anyone in Texas had this problem with there's I need mine because I do security and doordash and it really comes in handy.

Not happy with my purchase. Iottie's customer service was elusive and couldn't help me understand how hard it would be to take off the "dashboard pad" (the flat plastic circle you need to stick so the "suction cup" can do its job) from a leather dashboard and the aesthetic consequences of doing this. The video above doesn't show how to remove it neither so I presume it must be a freakin mess and this is something they could not resolve. It would be nice to have a note about LEATHER DASHBOARDS somewhere in your package so you don't waste people's time and mislead them into buying something that won't work. Just an idea.

Maybe I just got a defective unit, but mine does not work whatsoever! Every time I put my iPhone into the holder, it slips right out! I tried to attach the plate to the dashboard and the adhesive for whatever tape you’re using will not stick so the plate does not stay for very long before it comes out. I try using the suction cup on the windshield itself and it just keeps falling down so unfortunately, this is a no go for me.

I think that there is no such thing as a dashboard/windshield mount that is effective. Its like the mythical Leprechauns - doesn't exist, and is a never ending black hole that sucks money from humanity.

Got it thrice , but it came out in heat( when the car is parked in sun for hours,outside your house) all the times. With the dust from floor stuck on it, after it falls, you can’t put it back. It’s good in winter times. But for summers it’s a “BIG NO”. Don’t buy this product and don’t Waste of your precious money.

I bought this 11 months ago, after the first time I change it to stick to the windows and move it back to the base on the car dashboard, the base clear silicon failed to stick and constantly dropped to the car floor when I was driving and the last time I used it, it fall and broke the right side "L" shape holder. It is quite dangerous, I was unable to claim the warranties until I saw the US iOttie website for warranty issue which is another 2 months later. I lodged a claim and asked if they can send the parts to me (So that I can reduce the waste to the mother Earth). As soon as they was the invoice I have from eBay 13 months they just plainly refuse to allow me to claim warranties and replied the warranties has lapsed and they do not "Sell" parts. Yes, 1 month extra and no warranty. What a disappointment! My only option is to buy a complete new one. It is a good product, however not a good corporate citizen. I do not recommend it.

Great question, John. The diameter of the suction cup on the Easy One Touch 4 Mount is 2.5", so you should be able to measure out the space available in your vehicle model's window.

I had this Iottie with another of their vent mount product. I liked it's versatility but I hated everything else how it shook everytime I drive. The lower adjustable foot gave up in just a month due to the weight of my S 10+ and I stilled used it but each screw started loosing up after 2 months and fall apart. So, I had no choice but to throw the rest in the trash and buy a vent mount which I also hated for not being stable under the weight of my phone; but this Iottie vent car mount is way more resistant than the one above and that's the one I still have. Go for the vent mount because the one above won't last long.

Hi Mike! It is recommended that the dash and windshield mount be placed and used when it is 40 degrees Fahrenheit. We do also have CD slot and Air Vent mount options that might be better suited for the Texas heat. Thanks!

Make sure to wipe your dashboard then wipe the dashboard again with rubbing alcohol. Wait for it to dry then place the pad on. It should work. That's how I placed mine.

My daughter raved about these, so I bought one. I did everything by the book, it lasted one week. The one-time use adhesive tape failed then the mounting pad separated from my dashboard. :-(
