EASY Overlanding near Las Vegas | Mormon Well Road

This weekend we hit the trail with the Overland Bound Las Vegas group. This was the FIRST rally point meet up I've ever done with Overland Bound and it was a ton a fun! Met a bunch of awesome people and I hope to hit the trail again with them soon!
We started at the Desert Wildlife Refuge and drove about 50 miles of dirt trail. This trail is listed as Easy but there are a few bumps and washboards in the road (recommend to air down to smooth out the ride). The trail spits you back out onto the 95 so this was a straight through trail and took about 4 hours to complete with stops along the way. There was a campground located in the middle of the trail with pit toilets. Lots of good scenery for photography and overall a fun trail to ride.

@@Kadenventures My favorite trail north of town has to be the Logandale trail system. South of town is probably the trails around Nelson in the Eldorado Valley.

@@Kadenventures this year has been pretty dry. last year there would have been snow up there by now. hopefully we get some good rain here soon and with that some snow up in the mountains

That beeping is a GRMS repeater identifier. So seems like your picking up the repeater side of that channel when someone is keying up on the repeater Side note, favorite sandwich from Caps is their chicken Philly.

Looks like a great trail for my little stock soft roader. It's on my list now. BTW, I disagree with the suggestion below that you do away with the music. The sound of gravel is great, for about 4 1/2 seconds or so, and then I'd rather have the music.

Earthquinox Metal Detecting not at all! The trail was pretty easy jus bumpy there was one spot that helped with 4wd on but u could definitely have made it up without it 👌🏽 thanks for watching!

Personally I dont think I’d take a trailer out there.. there is one or two steep ascends that may be a bit difficult with a trailer attached to you
