Everytime I think I have alot of gadgets I watch one of your videos.lol. Never seen the dog water bottle thing before. Its been a crazy year so far. Been to Spring valley 3 times and it was miserable hot. Can't wait for fall!!

Desert Pass Campground is pretty cool very close to Vegas about an hour, and it's up in the mountains so it's 10-15 degrees cooler. Its in the Desert National Wildlife refugee area next to vegas

Right? That was what was alarming to us, we get accidents happen which is fine and if she would have just told us instead of us picking her up and finding it, THAT is what really pissed us off. And then the vet tells us that it had been there for at least 2/3 DAYS, blew our mind. Safe to say we arent going to be using her again lol Thanks for watching David!

Oiii poor Rio. I've heard mixed reviews about Rover😤 Best Mc'Ds breakfast is the sausage and egg Mcmuffin meal, and then put the hash brown on the sandwich.

Yeah I think it depends on the sitter, Rover ended up giving us some money toward the vet bill but at the end of the day they really just are a marketplace for these pet sitters. It sucks though bec we've been using this lady for over 3 years and Rio loves going there but this sitter has gotten really popular now and I think shes just taking in too many dogs and not really pay attention. And Hell yea! McMuffins for the win, that is exactly what I do with the hash brown too! lol Thanks for watching J!

Rio is doing much better now! We got her stitches out and the hair is slowly growing back lol We definitely wont be using this sitter anymore. The horses are so cool to see up there, we may do a horse back ride someday with them lol Thanks for watching Phyllis!!

Rover ended up giving us some money toward the vet bill but there was a deductible that we had to meet first ($250), the Sitter ended up reimbursing us for the deductible so luckily we didnt have to pay out of pocket for vet bills for all this craziness but we wont be using this sitter anymore

A pleasant trip for sure :) I was watching the marinade and then you said 12 hours and I was instantly NOoooo because Bromelain is pretty powerful stuff. Old animals, work animals, heavy use muscle groups, game, escargot and octopus all benefit from a short marinade with pineapple like 30 mins to an hour. For the dish you did here, leave the pineapple out and just add when you skewer :) everything else can stay the same :)

Hint, make your sausage patties ahead of time, flour helps them not stick so much. 50 years of camping experience. I’d even Back pack in frozen patties/bacon/steaks -ate GREAT first day or so! No freeze dried crap for us!! Course meant O was carrying 40 lbs or more in my back pack! Worth it💙

Good to know! Thanks for the tip, we are the same way! Good food at camp is the best part of camping so we rarely ever use the freeze dried stuff :) At least the pack was lighter on the way back! lol

Enjoy your videos - can’t travel right now(recently widowed, hit by tornado- real shit show) so I get to travel to west I love- I lived in Bullhead city as a kid in 60s so went to lakes all time. Enjoy seeing new areas too💙💙👍🏼

That’s terrible about doggo 💔💔 possibly left her for LONG TIME, she got hungry/thirsty & freaked out to get out? OR, worse case - doggy abuse. Shame u didn’t have a nanny cam! I have 😻😻😻 easier to leave, & my best friend comes to clean cat pans/feed/ water/ give meds to one of my kiddos. Suggest you trade off pet care w friends if feasible? I’d never use someone I don’t personally know- prolly like u, they’re my 4 legged “kids”

Yeah its very unfortunate, we arent sure what happened but we've been using this sitter for over 3 years, shes gotten really popular on the app though so I think shes just taking in more dogs than she can actually handle/care for but we arent going to be using her anymore. So true! Cats are so much easier to care for than dogs =) The hard part about moving to a new place, we dont have any family here and hate to burden our friends with taking care of our dog so we do rely on paid pet sitters, for now. Cool cot..I've never seen one like that. I like your "bear spray" rig. I used to have a 20, just couldn't afford to shoot it that much lol. Looked like an awesome trip! We missed you here in Vegas when it was 114 for the 4th.

So Interesting. I’m Hapa Filipino & Polynesian. I have lots of family there & in WA. Fishing there is so different…I’ used to bamboo fishing in Hawaii & now trying to fishing in SoCal…I don’t catch nothing 😅 can you do a video of your fishing gear & technique.

Fishing is different from area to area, this video is my Alaska setup but here in Las Vegas (when we do fish) I have a 5wt fly rod and a baitcasting reel. Depending on what i'm trying to fish for is what will dictate what gear I end up bringing and the technique. I honlestly dont fish much around here but fishing in SoCal (ocean/beach fishing) I think you'd need a pretty big surf rod to cast out far and probably bait to get some bites. I've also had great luck in marinas and docks so I'd check that out and do some research. Thanks for watching !!

My 2nd video now watching. Come here if u can about the 15th of June for the reds. You get them on the other side of bay. Nice vid. Sometimes the kings come into that creek you were by. Nothing there the date u came. But in Kenai the silvers are running. Rotary huh lol. Nice coho.

Yeah for sure! June is the month for snagging in Seward which is always a good time! We do like Rotary as our go to for reds in Soldotna. Sadly my timing this year was off so we had to settle for some king fishing in Kasilof. Thanks for watching Damien!

June/July is a great time to visit but be prepared to pay a lot for flights, hotels, rental cars bec the rest of the world also loves coming here during these months lol especially if you love to fish. Thanks for watching Matt!

Having a set up with AC/heat give you much more flexibility with a dog. Maybe try out a Van with AC and a bathroom. Setting up all that routinely would be show stopper for me. Probably why I ended up in an RV, and never went back to a tent set up (either though I loved it).

But dear Kaden you really should have a pump to help you with blowing up the air mattresses.. you tired me out watching you having to do two of them, plus your pillows. 😩 However your tent 🏕️ looked cozy. Good catch with the salmon you caught 🐟 👍 I was in awe of the huge brass (I think it was brass?) Halibut mounted on the wall! 😲 As I've told you before that halibut is my favorite fish 🐟 to eat! 😋 Your food looked delicious as usual, with contributions... courtesy of mom! 😀 What freaked me out a bit was that it was midnight and it was still light out. 😮 I guess that's something you get used to up there, huh? Hey Physllis! After blowing up those sleeping pads and pillows I was definitely contemplating an air pump lol! Maybe next year when I come back I’ll buying one for the trip. Halibut is one of our favorites too! That record breaking one is so cool to see its massive lol you do get used to the all day daylight but we definitely had black out curtains at our house to help us sleep at regular hours haha rio would have loved to come back to AK with us!
