Love this simple take on cobbler. I’ve made peach, strawberry and apple. All are great! We eat it for dessert, for breakfast with our coffee or for a snack. Soooooo good!!

Yes. Be sure to just let it cook as is and don’t mix it up at all while cooking. And the longer you let it cook, the crustier/more cooked the cake mix topping will be, so you can do to your liking. Enjoy! This is one of my fave crockpot desserts, strawberry is fantastic too. And thanks for trying and asking!

I made this in a crock pot and it was way to doughy. I think the cake mix should probaly be cut back to half a box or a 3rd, if you are not going to bake bake it.

Sorry to hear it was too doughy for your liking. When I use two cans of fruit filling, I have found the full box of cake mix to be the perfect amount and ratio to go with the amount of filling, but completely appreciate everyone has different likings, especially for things like this.
