Very easy to make, the only problem i had was the one was smaller or larger than the other. I might have made stitches a little smaller or larger than one. But it was very easy pattern.

I just don't like the raised seams from the slip stitching on the inside bottom of the bootie. Would sewing eliminate that?

mattress stitch usually doesn't leave a mark of seams. If you don't like how slip stitches look for seams, mattress stitch is what I would recommend. Also, if you have a serger or sewing machine, although with a sewing machine is a bit more trickier than with a serger.

If you need to slow down the tutorial, go to the settings wheel, click on speed, and choose any of the speeds below 0

Where is the setting wheel? Too fast and annoying music is louder than your voice.

The wheel is placed differently according to what device your using. Usually is on the bottom on desktop, or you have to tap once on a phone or tablet to see it. But since every device has their own app for it, I can not know for sure where yours will be located.

If you tap on the video as if to pause, you will see other buttons, one of them are represented as 3 dots, tapping again will give you a set of options for settings. Things like "quality", "captions", and "play back speed". Play back speed should be set to "normal" at the moment, but if you tap it, you will get various options. Anything above 1, like 1.25x, 1.5x means the video will be played faster, but anything below one, like 0.75x, 0.5x, or 0.25x will make the video play slower and slower. I hope that helps. KZbin has a feature to slow it down. Just click the settings wheel, and you can slow it down up to 0.25 times slower.

I found it easy to listen to the instructions, then pause the video. I could repeat the instructions and watch her hands as many times as I wanted. As the pattern was chain and single crochet only, I think it's a good beginner's pattern.
