@yarozuarich4 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much!!! This means a lot. Also, you should! They’re super easy to care for. Just make sure you get one that fits your living situation. Low light, lots of light, low maintenance... whatever. Also, don’t overwater them. It’s key. I’d say start with a snake plant. They’re pretty forgiving and there’s a variety of them 🧡

@@steph3774many renters (myself included) would still lose security deposit for that.
@coop750611 ай бұрын
Idk where you’re from but in my state renters are allowed to use screws and nails. It’s considered regular wear and tear and they cannot take your security deposit back for it. I would see if you have a renter’s association in your area and ask them about regulations for your state. Just because a landlord says they don’t like something it doesn’t mean you’re legally not allowed to do it! And like the above commenter said - if you’re worried about them giving you a hard time you can always fill holes with caulk and paint over em.
@chickginger5 ай бұрын
It usually depends on your rental agreement. Ours specifically states we can use picture hanging nails but not screws in our walls. Any screw holes they have to repair are subject to a fee. @coop7506
@adrienneranney12844 жыл бұрын
I know some apartments don't allow you to drill but many do. I just moved to an apt about 2 months ago and they said I can drill/screw/nail whatever I want as long it is isn't huge and I spackle over it before I move out. Each of my 2 sons live in apts and they can hang things too. Yay!

Simple shelf, with 2 small metal small set of legs.
@patricebodell76464 жыл бұрын
Love it and you. It's so positive. I wanted to try it I have old windows and thought it would be a great idea to put use to the wall space. The only issue I have is the way they open. Crank out windows. I also have a cat. Do you think the weight would be OK if a cat jumped on this?
@yarozuarich4 жыл бұрын
Thank you, love! - also, good question; if you’re wondering if it would hold the weight, this particular shelf would. It is attached to the wood studs in between the windows and I used 3 inch wood nails to do that. So it is very sturdy. My plants are heavy and it worked perfectly. As far as your kitty, if you’re building something like this, I would make sure you are securing it to wooden studs or make sure you anchor it really well to the wall. It would depend on your construction. If I had a cat, which I may in the future, they could get on mine with no problem. Hope this helps! 🤗💗

@adrienneranney12844 жыл бұрын
I never thought of "Hi Guys" as specifying gender. It just seems like a very general way to address a group of people or even just more than 1 person. II seems like it has lost it's meaning as in "guy" meaning "male". I say it to my parents for example. Actually in thinking about it, I use it not just for people, I have 3 cats and I often say something like "come on guys, time to eat!" as I'm getting their bowls ready. I'm not arguing with you... your comment surprised me and made me think.
