I live the bubble wrap idea. For the plastic bag if you end up doing enough quantity there's polytubing from uline with a special seal and cut machine that works really fast.

If you left the bag in its original state it could be reused. Now it’s 2 separate pieces of plastic in the ocean.

It's a Teflon sheet like what would be used for heat transfer.

Yes as long as its heat is high enough for whatever plastic, but really watch out for accidental plastic residue on the iron if it's the same one you use for clothing.

You can get a cheap impulse sealer for this. Much quicker and cleaner.

It’s beautiful but time consuming, try heat sealing machine or do not waste zip locks where you can use any other material.
