Hi Marie I’m so happy your video popped up for me to see. I love the way you’ve done the sleeves first before completing the body of the sweater. The videos I followed before coming across your tutorial, all do the body of the sweater first then do the sleeves last which is a lot of work left to do! That’s my opinion anyway so thank you for this genius idea❤

@@itsmariec well.. that might have been the reason. I didn't do it on purpose but then realized, that I didn't leave the first stitch out in every row. Now I turned them into balloon sleeves. Thank u anyways

It is long enough to go under my armpit but not wide enough for my body what did I do wrong?
@laurelgirard84754 ай бұрын
Either add a few more rows, or see if you missed increases or dropped stitches. I sometimes have the same problem because my shoulders are smaller than the size required based on my bust measurement, so I have to play with it to get the needed stitches. Just remember, most small mistakes or adjustments can only be seen by another garment maker. An added stitch here or there won’t wreak havoc on your project.

Once you have made the raglan part… so before you make the chain for your underarms … make sure that the width will fit you.. basically try it on and see if the places were your stitch markers are, are aligned with your underarm.. if they aren’t.. keep adding more rows before doing that chain to start the sleeves

It’s made to measure really :) so you can make it any size! I made a medium oversized sweater I’d say. To make it bigger or smaller you can add increase rows before starting your sleeves or reduce the amount of rows.
