Great video! is there a way to slow down the cloud simulation?
@azielarts Жыл бұрын
Hey yep , just lower the intensity of the forces under particle update, that will make it feel slower. You can also increase the drag
@_savvy_9902 Жыл бұрын
@@azielarts Will try that. Thank you so much!

Hello, I had a follow up question to your tutorial. I followed everything exactly but the smoke particles are all black in my scene... would you know how to fix it?
@Hrnapalm11 ай бұрын
did you find it?
@PlaguedDoodle9 ай бұрын
I was having trouble till now. In the video when he's choosing the smoke material, he specifically clicks on M_smoke_subUV_blackbody which makes it a bit harder to change the actual color of the smoke (or at least for me, even going to the casscade partical system for the smoke wasnt doing anything). If you want the cloud to change color, I would recommend changing the material to M_smoke_subUV instead of M_smoke_subUV_blackbody. The clouds won't be black and you can change the color of the clouds in Scale Color in the Hanging Particulates node. Hope this helps!

Great an easy-to-follow tutorial. Now, how would you change the cloud's color?
@azielarts Жыл бұрын
Awesome! You can change the color in the initiate particle section on the Niagara emitter. Just check that in the material for the sprite you are either using a particle color nodes color output as your color, or multiplying it over your texture.

Do you know how to get the render distance to show them from far away? My clouds disappear when I've moved too far away from them.
@azielarts Жыл бұрын
Yeah I get that also sometimes, you have to update the bounds of the CPU/GPU simulation to be larger. You can access that setting by clicking on the small blue node in the graph area of your Niagara simulation
