So adorable, Jen!! I love anything riveter inspired. When I'm lazy, which is everyday, I run to headbands. Headbands are fab for pixie cuts. I love you kitties, they are quite distracting as they play and demand your attention!

I did this look today ( without the roll in front , because I have short , short bangs ) , and it turned out great . I had to go out today , and I didnt have much time to get ready , and I didn't just want to put my hair up in a boring old claw clip or something like that , and I remembered this tutorial . I just curled my bangs a bit with my small barrel curling iron , and I was out the door. I even got a compliment from a cashier . Thanks for this one :)

Fantastic vid, great idea just put on a head scarf. I used to use red bandanas all the time but my quick go to look now is either hair just left down or in a low ponytail and then bobbypinned under (i don't know how to explain it) then the main thing is always always my fringe (bangs) must be curled under, bit like Betty Page.

When I have the extra money I like to buy Josie Maran Argan Oil since it's pure Argan where the One 'n Only has added ingredients though it seems to wash out fine. I hope that helps! ~hugs~

It might be the snood. Try also adding criss-crossed pins between the top and side pins.

Teasing will give texture and grip to the hair, but if you don't like doing that I recommend something like Big Sexy Hair's backcomb in a bottle...gives great texture to the hair. Also, make sure your hair is at least a day without washing. I hope that helps! :D

I have that same bandanna and I use it my "lazy" hair too! but since my hair is so short i just pin it all up and use the bandanna to cover the majority of my hair.

Jen is right. It's not you , it's the snood. I get mine from Arthelia's Attic on Etsy. Never caused me a problem EVER! I do use the criss cross pin trick when I use snoods from other companies. Last week I just got a cheap wide woven hair net and used it as a snood. It worked in a pinch.
