I'm so glad you found it helpful! :D My hair has a problem keeping in hot roller curls so I've spent along time figuring out the best way to get the longest lasting curl and that video was a result of all that trial and error. lol

Recently, I've been looking around for tutorials that made hot rolling easier for me, and this video with the link you put in the video really did it! I'm definitely going to use this video as a reference when I want to curl my hair like this. Thanks so much!

I've been wanting to try some bendy rollers...seems like you would get a nice tight curl with them. Hot rollers you wouldn't sleep in, pop them in on dry hair and let cool for about 30 mins and ta da! Thanks doll...I really do appreciate that!

It might be your brush. I recently bought a brush that had a lot of synthetic bristles and whoa static! I still like the brush so when I want to use it I spray it with a little hairspray before brushing through the hair and that helps with the static. I hope that helps a bit.

Aw, thanks! :D I like the curling cream, I've found that when I use it I can keep hot roller curls in my hair for the entire day and if I don't brush too much I'll even have a little curl left the next day. So I would say a good investment.

I use the Infiniti by Conair You Curl curling wand for my curls. I am so lucky I found something that will hold my curl all day. I pin them before they cool off. Hot rollers and regular curling irons do not work for me at all. I don't have the patience for wet sets because of all the frizz. The style in this video is my typical style and if it's not working out for me for some reason, I put the sides up into faux victory rolls.

Hi there ! So for me, I have natural curls, but I found out it's WAY easier to do pinup hairstyle by setting them for curls, simply because when I brush my natural curls, it looks awful! So I use the foam rollers on wet set the night before as I think the curls are staying all day (or 2 days) whereas with any heating technique, it stays a few hours and then flats again... (very disappointing!) and I use just a little bit of hair wax to smooth it and then hair spray to keep it in place :)

If you're bangs are really long the length of your hair might be part of the reason it's falling. You might try a little backcombing and the base of the hair to keep the height. :D

I use foam curlers and I don't use any product while rolling my wet hair. I leave it on overnight and I get beautiful curls. The problem is that as soon as my brush/comb makes contact with my hair, I get an explosion of static!!!!! How can I avoid and control it? Do you have any idea what could be causing it? I notice that you have no problem brushing through your hair. Thanks.

@equiannex

You're so fabulous, miss ! I have ridiculously straight thick hair thanks to Asian genes, curls do not stay what so ever :( Flatness is my arch enemy. I tend to do wet pincurl sets for photoshoots as it gives better longevity. For everyday I kind of give up and accept I'll be a flat mess by noon and use a curling iron then pincurl those with a ton of hairspray and velcro rollers on my crown. The curling cream you use on wet hair, good investment or ?

i have a really REALLY hard time getting my ends to roll and stay ..i usually wind up doing that twisty thing that ruins the curl at the ends :/ ...its like they push back and pop out .they fight me lol...do you have any tips on how to remedy that? can i use those papers like you use to do a perm ? ..it's really frustrating ..love your channel .any help would be awesome :)
@JenniferElise
@JenniferElise 8 жыл бұрын
+Sacevdo Acevedo I would say try to start rolling just above the ends and after you've rolled once try to then move the ends in for the second roll. The papers is a great tip...I'm not sure how well they would work on hot rollers but I would definitely try it. Hope that helps a bit.

I have been watching you videos awhile now...love them btw, but am curious, no matter how I put the curl in my hair, I find the moment I try to put a paste or pomade in it, the curl leaves. I will just put enough to wet my palms and run my fingers through the curl and my hair just gets a scraggley wet looking thing left from it. I've used Garniers natural control past and suavecita pomeade.I'm thinking I have found one light enough for my fine, thin, slighty naturally wavey hair? Can you help me out?
@JenniferElise
@JenniferElise 8 жыл бұрын
+L Koss Yeah those are really heavy pomades. I would try something like Kenra's platinum grooming pomade or Short Sexy Hair's Control paste. The suavecita is super heavy...is good for baby hairs at the hairline in updos.
