Running has been much harder recently, partly because I've been so busy and haven't been able to train regularly. I don't want all the running in the vlog to fool you - this run was 8:09/km! That's the reality of coming back to running sometimes. This was my first foray into hills in months, and it was a struggle! Hopefully I'll be back to regular training soon.

I am running my second marathon in October and I love to follow your journey because it’s the reality of so many runners: ups and downs. The most important thing is to enjoy the journey! I would certainly enjoy the journey more with some of those sungods on my face because who doesn’t want to look dope while running haha. The ultras a hard to beat! I do like the Vulcans and Velans too. I’d love the same clear lens as you for winter runs. My eyes water so bad 😳 I also love the full coverage. It would be great for protection from the harsh Australian sun! I run mainly trails so having a protective pair of sunnies that don’t bounce all over the place would be so good!

The Ultras you're wearing here would be my preference. I'd wear them on my run home from work, have my co-workers wondering 'who's that?' lol. As a sidenote, I've really appreciated you sharing your experience with EBV. I had it years ago and remeber how slow (and sometimes non-existent) the recovery process felt. It was maddeningly frustrating at times and I think videos like this would've helped me a lot. You will get there!!

Congratulations on 50k Flora, I know you've been working towards that for a while. It's been very interesting to see your recovery journey over the last several months, which has resonated even more with me after I tore my left quad in March. Obviously I have a very different recovery timeline, but after 8 weeks without running, as I slowly ease back in I have had to readjust my expectations in terms of pace/distance etc. like you have! My favourite Sungods would probably be the Ultras - there are some beautiful combinations there! I'd wear them in the Peak District this summer, which is my new trail running home as I move to Sheffield in a couple of weeks! Hopefully that makes for good training for the Hardwolds 80 race in November

I like the Renegades the most as they are quite understated, but saying that I'd probably go for some snazzy blue or green lenses to make them a little less so. I also like the Altras, which would probably work best for running. I would also like to be able to wear them at work (firefighter) especially when out dealing with grass fires as it stops bits and bobs from entering your eyes when you're not wearing full kit due to summer heat. I think I'd wear the Renegades pretty much anywhere though as I think they are pretty darn snazzy. Glad to see you back running again and as always, doing so with a smile. Man dogs like Tia make it look easy!

The surprising thing about this video is that you WEREN'T ALREADY at 50k! Really well done, milestones or not, it's nice to watch your runs and have a casual feeling video instead of the scripted channels for a change :) As for the Sungod glasses, I think the sieras and the classics look cool, but they have different arms so if I were to wij id probably go for the ultras like yours so id be confident they didn't fly off on runs :') I'm just up to 10+ miles after 2 years so that's where id wear them, in the little trails of West Yorkshire

Hi! Been following a short while and getting serious FOMO from your country side running vids... I lived in Glastonbury for 11 years before moving to London and I definitely didn't make the most of the trails back then! Well done on 50k!! Never looked up SunGod before but they're stunning... The Sun god Ultras are one of my favourites. I just DNF from the UTS Snowdonia 50km race due to an ankle injury 😢 it was my third attempt, year one I fractured my ankle and had to cancel the race, year two my mum died, and this year, I expected it to be third time lucky but it didn’t occur, but I will sign up next year. Well done for 50k!! If I'm not too late to enter, I'd love the sun god classics, which I'd wear for runs but also walks and through the summer as my eyes are very light sensitive - sunglasses without the bounce on runs would be amazing! X

Congratulations on hitting the 50K subscribers Flora! The GTs and the Sierras look awesome, they would by a great addition to my gear when running by the sea, protecting my eyes from the water reflection.
