Mike if you guys haven't been to your place where you pick up your mail you got a package from me for Saleh. They sent me an email that they had delivered it there this morning. It was some things that I thought she would enjoy after I saw her get her ears pierced.She is such a sweetheart and helps you with everything. The boys do too but I had no idea what to get them. You have some great hard working children to help you do anything that you need done.If you could I would like for you to film her opening her presents so I can see if she likes them.

What a great idea to use the old chicken feed bags! It’s amazing how fast the children are growing. Seems like just yesterday they were babies! ❤ Every time we have to deal with tarps or ground cover it seems the wind is terrible! 😂

My late hubby and I would use tarps held into place by homemade anchors from metal coat hangers that were cut into v shape. This was all placed on a raised bed. To keep water use low we placed under the tarp a soaker hose on a timer. This worked for over 10 years of repeated use.

I have in the past, but on our windy plains, it is really difficult to use them on large spaces, but then where we live farmers have whole greenhouses blow miles away on a regular basis in our wind storms. LOL so i have started using them in smaller spots along with shredded cardboard, but smaller plots with lots of weight on them
@MikeTheFitFarmer11 ай бұрын
I bet it is hard for you to keep them on the ground with all you wind.
@noraarico131311 ай бұрын
I've used tarps of mostly smaller sizes around my gardens. It's easier to move debris, leaves, or soil from one place to another just by dragging the filled tarps. This method cut down immensely on having to shovel stuff into a wheel barrel and then empty the wheel barrel with the shovel at the new location. I also took closed tarps filled with hedge cuttings, etc., to the town dump. Using tarps instead of sand bags for yard work was so much easier, especially with spring and fall cleanup chores.

I'm super curious, Mike. If you only gardened and farmed, what do you think would happen to your physique? Is gardening and homesteading itself a sufficient workout, or would you greatly lose your muscularity if you stopped training as well? I guess my question is really, to what degree do you see farming/gardening/homesteading's efficiency on fitness? God bless. :)

Mike it looked to me that the boys were having a blast helping you put the tarps in place. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- (Jesus) Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; Romans 3:25-31 King James Version 25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; 26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. 27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. 28 Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law. 29 Is he the God of the Jews only? is he not also of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also: 30 Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith. 31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.
