I flipped out when I heard about this, Alolan Raichu is one of my favorite pokemon! Honestly, it could have been the next Elektross. If it had levitate, you could change its Tera type to Electric, boom! And I’m pretty sure its speed stat is higher. Even if it didn’t have Levitate, could’ve had Lightning Rod. 6:00 outbreak events are like tera raid events, they stay in the game until you connect online on that save file and this is definitely an event to keep even if you only have one switch to load up with saved events.

I caught 8 in about 40 minutes with no sandwich. But then couldn't catch a Mimikyu at all 😂

Mimikyu is hard to spot. Took me about 1.5 hrs to get one to spawn during the Halloween outbreak and it was an accidental encounter like my spidey sense tingled and told me to encouter it. You have to go slow on the hunt.

@@jaredbobak1426 same here man , i went for all of the pikas , expect for pikachu himself. Mimiku and Pichu were killing me but i was swimming in both forms of Raichu . I was glad i finally got Mimiku , just look for the gray cheeks !

Alolan Raichu doesn't have a gender difference, only Pikachu and Kanto Raichu have gender differences I believe

Yes it does I have a female and male I caught both 🤣 alolan Raichu does have a gender in both sv

@@charlottewright6235 what is the difference then? I also have both but Serebii doesn't show a gender difference for the Alolan form. Kantonian Raichu has a difference with the trail but Alolan have the same appearance. I've completed a living form dex and there is no gender difference for the Alolan Raichu

On my first Alolan Raichu hunt... I didn't even get a shiny until the message: 'There are not many Raichu left in the original outbreak'... and then I ended up catching FIVE of them in five different apricorn balls!

I saved once I saw the outbreak and made a shinny electric sandwich and got two shinies. Did the same thing today and got two more. I caught a bunch of non shinies and saved them for myselfe and tossing a bunch on surprise trade just being a nice guy and sharing them with uthers.

@@TheOmegazerox That's awesome! Trying for that rare 'once in a lifetime' ribbon? I don't think anyone has gotten that. UPDATE: I'm now at 32 total shiny Alolan Raichu including a RAre, Jumbo, Mini & just because I like it, two Destiny Marks.

I only found 2, 1 female and 1 male, from the 2nd outbreak the first had nothing but was also only in the water, the 2nd outbreak found the two in the water but there was also land nearby so could run off and despawn them and come back

I don't even count 60 anymore... I just knock out until I get the notification that says that I knocked out a pokemon from' the original outbreak. This dosnt mean you will geg less then 15 spawns so never count to 60
