Easy Shrimp Dinner Recipe for Family Night 🍤 Quick & Delicious Meals

Thank you for sharing such a delicious recipe! My mother used to make something similar. What she did differently with the shrimp heads and shells, after she sautéed and simmered them, she would place them in the blender to grind everything down to bits and then add it all to a muslin sheet or fine cheese cloth, to filter out the shell bits. It extracts every bit of shrimp flavor from the shells and head. She would do this with crab and lobster shells too for making wonderful bisques. She has been gone 25 years now and watching your video with the soothing music brought me back to her kitchen and I could almost smell the wonderful smells from your kitchen, thank you!🙏💖

I did not think the video was too slow. I thought that the pace was relaxed, and I was comfortable with that. For very experienced cooks, maybe they don't want to watch the knife skills. But I am not an experienced cook, so I appreciated the demonstrations. Thank you for the video.

Ho visto il tuo video dall'italiano, cucino per la mia famiglia da quando ho potuto lasciare il lavoro e cucino ricette tradizionali italiane anche se da qualche tempo mi dedico anche a realizzare ricette della cucina araba. La cucina è amore e richiede i suoi tempi e chi vuole trasmettere la propria esperienza con amore sa che il video viene visto da esperti e principianti e il tempo che richiede è anche una forma di rispetto verso chi guarda dovendo imparare mentre chi ha fretta non mostra uguale rispetto. Seguendo la nostra cucina tradizionale italiana devo darti un suggerimento ; usa solo le teste dei gamberi, togliendo occhi e antenne, per preparare il brodo e, dopo alcuni minuti di ebollizione, aggiungi zollette di ghiaccio perché lo shock termico estrae tutti gli umori e i sapori dalle teste. Usa il brodo per cuocere il riso, cominciando con una parte e aggiungendolo fino a cottura del riso. I gamberi lasciali crudi;li aggiungi al riso appena cotto dopo aver spento la fiamma. I gamberi devono cuocere con il calore del riso;come hai fatto tu prendono la consistenza della gomma. Nei tre-quattro minuti che servono al riso per "riposare" i gamberi cuociono e rimangono delicati. In ogni caso ottima ricetta. Commenti. Spero tu abbia un traduttore; io capisco quello che scrivete in inglese ma sono in grado di scrivere nella tua lingua. Ciao.

I can make a much better shrimp dish using the same ingredients with much less fuss --- thi 12:00 s one is waaayyyy too unnecessarily complicated . Cooking to me is an enjoyable hobby, not work .

Agreed. And honestly all that trouble for the shrimp stock, just to waste it on the rice? Why wasn't that in the sauce? Also the red peppers? They don't have enough flavor or in this case color to make a difference in a sauce like that, why add the extra step? I could see a white sauce, have the red & green popping color but not in this, everything was orange thanks to the paprika... it was good ingredients, yes, but result wasn't worth the work put in. Great idea, and love that you feed the shrimp veins to the birds! I don't know if that's ok for them to eat, I'm hoping you've researched this practice is not damaging them considering how perishable shrimp, as a whole, is? They do look like worms, though, I'm hoping just a nourishing or as a treat!
