The balance of this top is all wrong. It rides up by several inches at the front. It should be the same length all around the body. When a top is not balanced it looks all wrong and handmade. I ❤tube but this is a poor tutorial.

A bit more elements of response now that I take the time: - you can see when I show the pattern pieces that the front is longer than the back. Normal, since breasts will lift the fabric. - the mannequin I used to display the top is a store mannequin, not a proper dress form. It doesn't have the measurements of a precise size, but is a mix of several. They made it with big boobs. That's why the fabric is lifted at the front.

I am glad you agree with me and perhaps going forward you show a top as an example that is * balanced* as when showing people how to sew it is one of the very first things I learnt... every item you make has to he balanced it is a non negotiable in regards to sewing, .Sewing is a joy but needs to look right ...but thank you for your reply ..🙏
