Hi Isa! I’ve purchased this pattern a couple of years ago and it was my first ever sewing project. I still have the shirt and wear it a ton to this day! Ive been making my own clothes ever since, using all different kinds of patterns from different makers (yours included) and I keep coming back to the sleeves you explain here in this video. I’ve never seen anyone else do it this way and it is by far the best way and always comes out looking so professional. You’ve explained it beautifully. So thank you! Love your work

Yes! the reason I don't use my overlocker in the video is only because most people don't have one, so they ask me how to sew it with a regular sewing machine

Hi! It's because you want to compare your measurements with that of the skirt? Waist measurements: smaller part of the waist. Hips: larger part of the hip+butt

I love print shop printing. I'm in Philadelphia and take my larger format digital patterns to my local Staples Print Center. BluePrint format for a 36 inch x 48 inch black/white print is $8 USD.

@@isainstitches You're welcome. I was just there and if you take the larger format prints there they can print them as 36 Inches x however long as well. In case you're working on future patterns and don't want to split the larger file up into chunks. Also, I jaw dropped to the floor when I realized some of my other print from home patterns have layers to them rather than struggling to figure out what line is when when I'm cutting them out. Really great explanation and as an aspiring pattern creator I hope to add this feature to mine as I start pattern testing different sizes.

Loved this pattern. It made a perfect top for a pair of pyjamas. So simple and quick to sew up but I probably wouldn't have managed if I were a beginner. Would have loved a set of written instructions with the pattern but the video was easy to follow.

Hi! Well observed, there are no darts, stretchy fabrics allow us to skip darts (to a certain extend)

I'm sorry it's hard to say! But it's supposed to get messy and illegible, laybe you're not wrong? Try watching other tutorials, this method is very common on youtube

@@isainstitches i eventually figured it out - I kind of had to do one side, stop and unpin, then the back side. I think it might've been my fabric was too thick. i did finish it all up though and it looks great :) thank you for the detailed tutorial
