I love the fact that you let us see the little "accident" you had with the strawberries. That makes your videos more authentic, and we don´t feel bad if we have those accidents as well. To tell you the truth, the food looks even more delicious because you can see and feel it´s really home made.

Kevin!! It's been a while since I've been able to visit you here, and I wanted to offer up a comment or two. The camera angle at the end with you at the table was perfect, and I felt like I was actually siting there. I've been thinking.... you need to have some sort of contest...heaven knows what...and the winner and a guest/partner can enjoy a gourmet weekend at your place. Imagine that. Thank goodness you are here, Kevin! I've just had a terrible couple of days trying to gain a new skill which just isn't working. So nice to set it aside and watch your super easy, relaxing channel with good food and excellent dinner company too as usual! Everything on the menu today looks perfect. I must try making your butter pastry and with strawberries as a filling, one can't go wrong. The potato and leek soup [as all of your soups], is already a favourite. I made some recently though I prefer it hot. Far too cold in the UK for al fresco dining so while you had lots more snow than we get, your Spring has come along really quickly. Your Duck Breast Mirepoix looks really easy to make and I will definitely give it a try. Pinot Noir is an excellent choice for duck, as you well know, and the spinach salad seems to be a great idea to cleanse the palate before eating the Galette. Thank you as always for inviting us to Dinner. You are truly an excellent host so it's always a pleasure to visit, particularly after a bad day!! The perfect spring dinner! Could it be any better? In a way, it looks like it would be easy to make. Not too complicated, yet so elegant. I have never made duck before because I have heard that it's tricky to make it turn out tender. But now I have a way to make it that I can manage. The table setting is exquisite. Hello Kevin- lovely dinner. That Rose Geranium is a find. I am about to make root cuttings from my wintered over plant. I place a leaf or two on the bottom of my cake pan, cover with parchment paper. Then pour a white cake batter. The geranium will scent the cake like rose water. ~ Diane

I don’t know if you have access to a Trader Joe’s but they carry dry toasted almonds both slivered and sliced. Their flavor is amazing and they keep for months in the freezer. Just defrost what you need. Also you made me want to make vichyssoise! Thank you for this lovely video!

Oh, Kevin! You come up with the easiest, most decadent and flavourful dinner ideas! This one was lovely; especially set up in your herb garden. So special! As a side note, I now use baby spinach instead of lettuce on my submarine sandwiches when I make them. I give you credit for that. When lettuce bec ame too expensive, I switched to baby spinach as I love some 'crunch' in my sandwiches and hamburgers, etc. I will always use the spinach rather than lettuce. It's so delicious, healthy and 'crunchworthy'. You make many things with spinach, so thank you, Kevin, for unknowingly converting me to a healthier choice! Can't wait for your next video!
