As I am not only elderly, but seriously arthritic, simple, make-ahead meals are about all I am up to these days. I am going to make this lovely Valentine's Day Dinner this year. Make ahead recipes are very helpful. I watched this video as I prepped in the early afternoon for tonight's dinner. I find it so much more relaxing to get my prep done early and then leisurely finish the meal later when I am more likely to have less energy. Kevin, thank you so much for your videos. They remind me of the old days of Food Network, when cooks actually cooked, rather than celebrities cooking or non-cooks participating in various competitions. And, as a gardener, I love your gardening content as well.

Make ahead menus are a top priority at my stage of life. Before I found your channel (leading up to Christmas 2022) I hadn’t found a channel that is sensitive to my busy family life. If I searched hard enough I might be able to find make ahead menus, but upon browsing your channel (which is now a family affair) I was pleasantly surprised with all the make ahead options. Thank you for your kindness & grace in sharing your time and mouthwatering recipes. I’ve also learnt, through your example the importance of going the extra mile to create a proper/special dining room atmosphere using the good dishes and setting the table beautifully to perfectly complement a wonderful meal. Wow, all of these recipes look so doable and affordable, and I think I will try them all. I can even customize the roulades, chicken as demonstrated for my valentines, and veggie for me. :) Being able to make parts of the dinner (or all!) in advance makes this seem extra accomplishable, taking the stress out of it. Beautiful china pattern and set off so beautifully with the gold flatware. The yellow roses are my favorite. Hope to see them in my local store. Those beet gteens make fabulous rice rolls. It is a Ukranian dish I learned from my mom. After baking the casserole of beet holubsti I pour a mixture of fried onion in sour and sweet cream mixture over the top and bake another 10 min. It is a real treat! Thank you for your great, inspiring videos!

Another amazing meal. When I entertain I usually have six-ten guests. Make ahead dishes are very important as I like to spend time visiting with my friends and family. My living area is semi-open, so guests can sit in the breakfast nook and family room and talk while I finish the food before we go into the formal dining room to eat. Entertaining has gotten to be so casual, but I am a holdout for setting a nice table in the dining room. Thank you, again, for sharing this special meal.

I absolutely LOVE this menu. I'm catering a party for 25 people and this is a wonderful menu for it. A couple of changes -- I think (unless you disagree) that I'll use golden beets instead of red. Also, instead of a full-sized cake, I'm going to use mini-bundt cakes for individual servings. Other than that, this is PERFECTION!!! I can't wait to try the full menu. The crepe chicken roulade looks absolutely healthy and delicious.

The Chicken Roulades look perfect and seriously healthy for dinner at any time. Well done extracting your beautiful chocolate and red wine cake from the pan. It looks heavenly.
