Gonna try this. I use cumin in my cooking so this dish must be ridiculously amazing and flavory.

So simple and fast, yet with amazing flavors. Without the ginger, it would taste very Mexican/TexMex. I put 3-5 cumin seeds, crushed between my fingers, in my chicken stock. It makes it more delicious without a strong cumin taste.

I believe she said Flank steak, or you could opt for Skirt steak.

@@ChineseHealthyCook yess! In 10 days i will have my kitchen finished after refurbishment and i cant wait to start coocking! I designed tghe new one for more practicality with wok etc - so basically I haven’t coocked anything at home since the end of Sep and takeaway or restaurants can’t match the home quality

Hello Ling. I made something similar but the girlfriend does not like cumin and have used chilli powder. I've added a touch of hoisin sauce. It was really good. I even used paprika in previous dishes. Take care.

Great recipe as usual but an observation: tell the cameraman to stop chiming in by talking over you or giving unhelpful tips like 'Mm! Goes great with rice!' Just let your cooking be the show, get rid of everything else.
@ChineseHealthyCook3 жыл бұрын
Haha, actually “going well with rice” in Chinese is Xia Fan. It is how we describe dishes which are even better served with rice 😄
