I played Rooster 4 years ago and then Oliver Warbucks recently and I tell you Rooster was the most fun I have had in a role, tied with doing trunchbull in Matilda. Don’t get me wrong playing Oliver was great to, but there is something about playing the villain and getting to just have pure fun and just in a sense hamming it up. As kids you always hate the villains, but when you get older you see how fun playing evil can be. You drive the story, and for some weird reason always get a very catchy number lol.

I played Mrs Hannigan when I was younger which was such a full circle moment as it was also my first ever Broadway show I ever saw. SO much fun. Another notable role was grandma Bertha in Pippen who happened to have the longest solo in the whole production and that was also a blast! Now if I could be cast as Mrs Hannigan on a major production stage again that would really be the dream!

I think the musical arrangement from the original movie is the best. The orchestration of the music and the sweet blend of the three vocal parts, make it the perfect version for this song.
