Easy Sublimation Project to add a Logo to a Mug

Hello, This was my first time using the sublimation printer and adding my logo to a mug. It was far easier than I thought it would be and it came out brilliantly. I will definitely be making more of these.

My only advice would be print on a standard printer with normal paper first just to check it and then I always print enough to cover the whole page so I don't waste any of the paper haha 😅

Sublimation is the process by which a solid transforms into a gas without passing through the liquid stage.

I've got exactly the same printer as the one you have used but bought it a couple of years ago from Argos so is as it came out of the factory. What is the difference between your printer and mine p.ease?

The one you got would only be set up for ordinary ink, so if you've used it with ordinary ink, you won't be able to put sublimation ink in it. Best to buy another brand new and then put sub inks in it, but you will have to get an ICC profile done to get the colours right.

Why not use your cricut and heat transform vinyls?

These are permanent and will never come off even in the dishwasher and you don’t have to do it in layers of vinyl for the colours just print and press. I do love vinyl though for other projects. And used design space to make the logo design.

You can convert a normal printer as long as it has never been used for normal ink. Thank you for loving the channel 🥰
