You should talk about your gear and ur line setup. Ur rigs etc. talk about brands, test lines. U get my drift. Cuz following and uploading vids is all about learning, where u show us and we cud in return reply and also help you. I am very very glad that there is someone local who is doing this and very passionate about it. I cud hear it in ur voice every time. Haha

I will do a video on that very soon bro...Appreciate the suggestion...I know that there are a lot of new fishermen/women out there who would benefit from it..So I will...Soon! Also it will be good for me to learn as well! And yes man...I love it! And the You Tube channel has definitely made me step out of the box a bit and get back into doing all different types of fishing! Fish On!

Bro congrats on the 1000 subs, nice batch of pompano man. I'm planning a trip soon so if and when I come I'll bring you a bunch of snapper poppers, they work good for those pompanos and jacks big or small. Gave my cousin in caura some and he does rack up some nice jacks with them up in caranage(spelled wrong I think lol). On a side note, I went to buy fish for my tank yesterday and a 6 inch wabine sells for $50 lol and an 8 inch pleco(tayta) goes for $15. Crazy eh
@KoSMTT7 жыл бұрын
Thanks bro! I have really appreciated your support over the last couple weeks! Never used the snapper poppers, would be interesting to try! And if its working for your cousin...definitely want to give it a go! $50!!! WoW!!! That is crazy! I guess it all has to do with availability! Peacock Bass sell for around $50us in Trinidad for a 3" fish...In Florida you can go in any canal and catch them by the dozen!..So are we going to see some fish tank videos? I hope to set up a tank soon as well!
@dmdfishin7 жыл бұрын
My very first 2 videos was of my tank after converting to freshwater from saltwater. I'm hoping to do one as I included neon tetras with my fancy guppies. Bro those 7 colors we used to throw rocks at as kids in the drain sells for $3 each here lol. At that price for the peacocks there I'd buy a good bit and let them loose in a bunch of rivers so they can populate to better the fishery( just a thought). I support all my subscribers as they put out a new video as we need the support also brother. So if I'm not able to make it there I can always send the poppers to my cousin and arrange for you to pick them up. He lives in Caura road which if you go to Caura river you have to pass his house lol and we always have family coming and going. So on that i'll keep you posted. You are very much welcome bro.
@KoSMTT7 жыл бұрын
Oh...Will check out those vids! You should do some more...Always interesting to see the fishes behaviour up close and personal...And I know about those guppies! Caught them by the hundreds to feed my oscars! I might be buying a couple peacocks for my tank...I'll see how it goes...And yea bro...Always great to support each other! Got to build the fishing community bigger and better! And no probs man...We can link up somehow...Hopefully you get to visit Trini soon! Will catch some fish somewhere together! Fish On!

Kos m im goin fishing tmrw and using live bait so i would let the bait swim out with the line im planning on using a circle hook . Where should i hook the fish ? Do i leave the bale open or just loosen the drag?
@KoSMTT7 жыл бұрын
Hey Luke, only now seeing this...For live bait it depends on the size and type where to hook it...I usually prefer through the nose or top of the head...being careful not to kill it...If holding the rod, you can free line it with the bail open and just keep light tension on it...If setting the rod, loosen the drag so the fish can take it and run with it...

Hello sir I live in Trinidad in arima and I love surf fishing but all my life I have used a caster I made. Now I want a rod &spincast around $4to5.00 or lower can you help me please.
@KoSMTT6 жыл бұрын
Hey man...Casters are what we all used and still use....It's our traditional way! You can check out Mankee's and he can hook you up with a decent combo...There are 7ft rods (Solara or Tuff Tip) around $200.00 and you can get a Shimano Sienna or similar reel for aorund $250.00...There will be your best bet to get a decent combo at a good price...
