I just tried this recipe and it was fabulous! I cut it in half, recipe wise, and ate it plain without toppings and it was just scrumptious. The only other modification I made was I tossed in some jalapenos. Highly recommend.

Good morning, Alicia! Hope all is well with you, all good here! This will be used in place of my Taco Salad I make with those premade taco bowl shells I get from Walmart. I put the refried beans on the bottom then shredded lettuce all the goodies like you layered in yours on top. Only I can make a pan of this and just add lettuce during the week yum😋 Thank you Alicia!! Hope your weekend is great!!!!❤

@@AliciaLynnYT My pleasure watching!! The shells are by all the Mexican Taco Sauces, Refried Beans and are usually on the top shelf. We're in South Florida so they're probably more pricey here, $6.95 for 4 shells. They get crunchy and hot in about 20 to 30 seconds in the microwave. BTW, the shells have zero salt. However, times like these your way is definitely cost effective!!!!! 💛 Once again I rambled on and on, sorry🤣

I have heard about taco bake for years...but never really knew what all went into this dish, (or how it was assembled so neatly). I think I thought it was all piled together sort of like a plate of nachos! It's almost like a Mexican-lasagna! 😀👍 I'm gonna try this. Is Rotel like zero Pts?

Wow! Yet another amazing recipe! Thank you Alicia! My Hispanic hubby loves canned beans. Cracks me up, because his mom always had/has fresh beans cooking. I found that Trader Joe’s has THE best tasting canned FF refried beans out there. Have you ever tried them? Thank you for sharing this recipe. I’m definitely going to try it! ❤
