I want to thank you for continuing to make these great video tutorials. I'm an official fine artist for Disney and Lucasfilm, and I've been watching your videos for years. Your tips and technique has helped me vastly improve my work, especially when it comes to backgrounds. I look forward to every new video you put up.

Beautiful....Some dabs, blobs and splashes transformed into exquisitely beautiful trees with beautiful artistry and application of the brushes ..Slender lines and detailed brush work ..Love the way you patiently painted the minutest details on the lines as they transformed into an exquisitelybeautiful painting....

When painting a distance hillside What colours so you mix up, specifically the blue’ish tones and purple tones I’ve been stuck with this part which in turn stops me painting. Could you help please.😊

Pine trees are the most common tree where I live.. I always over detail distant ones. It's frustrating. So thank you! Hanging moss is another tough one.

I just watched the first video, I am amazed at how good, no i mean how great you are! You make everything look so realistic and in such detail. You also make painting look so easy when it’s not. You are blessed with a gift, you are very talented! I love art, I just watched your video on trees.. I want to learn how to paint , it would be relaxing to learn. I am an interior designer, love your crisp, rich tones. Thank you for sharing!

I'm impressed with your skills. You have mastered painting grass and leafy trees to perfection. They look like photos! This is probably the first video in which you paint pines. Do you intend to show the technique of painting pine/spruce trees in the foreground in the future? I mean individual trees in detail. Thanks!

I studied art history when I was in college many years ago. I never found inspiration in any works of the old masters but I understand their contributions to the world of art but Master is not an image I take from any of their work except for Michael Angelos sculptures. You are the true definition of a master and in fact beyond master. There is no one and you wont teach anyone to be as good as you. You can teach them to be better at their art but no one will ever master creation like you. WOW WOW WOW. You are the definition of a master and no one before you. There is no artist or artwork on this earth as good as yours.

That twas magic... here I sit lookin atta ne'er-do-well block-in, you pull out your wand for the darker spots, presto! Trees! Had to shake me head to refocus me eyes but, yeah, there they were in plain sight. Eyepopper Mikey. But, how to put this, I have me own pinegroves and grew up amongst pineys. As a child walking a field I passed a lone one twice an adult's height and it was SINGING. Stopped in me tracks and gazed at it. There be a spry wind makin the tree happy, so I thought. Since, being around nearly nothing but pines I found each individual singing in it's own notes. But their color, whether shaded or dramatically in sun tis never yellow, always a reverent dark/medium green with gloss sparkles. The firs have duller glosses. Both as evergreens the only other color I've seen is rust when twig or limb snapped. So, I'm curious of the ones you painted a rich yellow, and what a loss that I've never seen such grandeur. Fiddlesticks!

First dark parts are fine, light grey makes it look like mixed forest, hardwoods foliage top of pine trees. Pure pine tree forest is kind of darker green, grey green?

really nice videos...kind of pricey...but unique in no one else is doing as good of a job presenting and all the different types of scenes you can work on. Brushes are excellent and highly recommended for your paintings. Remember panels are best...and even another layer of gesso to smooth out if using canvas panels. Buy a good quality panel for longevity. Invest in a basic set of colours recommended and nothing more...for a year or so till you get much better...focus on getting all the layers done for the desired effects....it takes time but results well worth it...and also best to get some of your own good quality images around you. Thanks...
