I think is not possible as Ableton doesn't have patterns, but you have an option where you delete on the piano roll the notes that are not in key

Hey . You can actually stop doing all these things with sampler and just click on triangle in top- left corner and go to helpers - scale highlighting - and select there . OR you can select automatic there and play around your melody and you will get melody that fits your mood
