WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TODAY my 4 TB HGST hard drive became a RAW drive. I will try it... there is a lot of stuff inside it. I was lucky enough to copy more than 900 GB before the problem.

it should be chkdsk e: /f (chkdsk space e: space /f) not chkdsk /f e: 👇 the switch always goes after the command... never before it. However, that will not resolve the problem, as it will still be a RAW drive, with no file system to fiix. The advice I gave was to correct the command line structure you mentioned, (the syntax) rather than the drive that needs repaired.
