Quick question - I always thought that if you were going to put a 2nd coat of top coat on that you had to buff the first layer of top coat prior to the 2nd top coat application - is this not the case? I swear I have learned so much from watching your channel. Appreciate you showing the 2 ways of doing this.

You'll notice that a lot of times when we do two coats of top coat, we generally cure the first coat for only 30 seconds. This leaves a little uncured gel for the next coat to adhere to. When using the Ultimate Finish, this also does have a chemistry where within a few minutes of curing, a second coat will still adhere.

What I've been wondering lately is, what's the big deal with chrome? Why wouldn't someone just use a metallic polish? Wouldn't it be the same effect? 🤔 Beginner here, I'm really just curious and wanting to learn 😊

It's just about having different looks. Here is a video where we use one of our metallic gel polishes before applying the glitter and it doesn't have the same look as chrome. kzbin.info/www/bejne/i4LLdZhjiKxoo8U
