3:42 Thanks! I got this box today and I wasn't sure if I was supposed to pull that tab or if that was part of how Virgin staff open the box after I send it so I wasn't sure how this box opens. You confirmed I do indeed pull that off to assemble the box. Ok I'm all done and ready to take it to a Yodel point. Have a good day. :)

It’s amazing. They (all of them) make it easy to sign up to new services but make everything as difficult as possible to leave or cancel. It should be illegal to engage in these working practices.

@@houseman4906hi thanks for this video, do you know if I have to return the hdmi and Ethernet cables? I used my own ones which are much better for faster connection and I don’t know where I put the original virgin media ones.

There is a link when you sign into your account that allows you to start the cancellation process. It does take you to a chat where you explain why you are leaving and of course they make you some counter offers but in the end I told them please cancel and send me details of how I may return your kit. 5 minutes later I got an email giving me instructions on how to do just that. I also had a call a few days later from a very nice lady at Virgin who also wanted to know why I was leaving and making some additional offers but after about 5 minutes she accepted they could not match the offer I was getting and confirmed she would process my cancellation.You can also send a letter to their Sunderland HQ. No need to spend any length of time on the phone.

Hello, how do I cancel my broadband contract? It has been several months. I called them and they told me I have to pay 300.

What you can do agree to new contract and can disconnect in cooling of period as with new contract you get 14 days cooling of😂

Hi My cancelled my virgin media service they send closing bill 35.90£ but after 6 days they send 310£ my closing fee with early disconnection date what to do now ?

You can use chat with them online. After answering the basic questions with chatbot, type in Human assistant, then you will be transferred to an agent

What Broadband service is recommended?

Broadband is no good anymore as they raise price ridiculously every April. I am using a 5G router that plugged in a SIM card. You can watch my video named 5G CPE Router, no more broadband. By doing that, you have full control of the speed and price, no more contract.

Absolutely the reason I was finding a way out. Now using a 5G router with a SIM card, monthly cost is down to £2!!!! You may watch my another video if you want to get rid of such headache.
