Finally had a chance to make one, I only hot glued to plate to the paper towel holder and taped the pole to the holder, it worked out beautifully!! Thank you.

Hello Vianey, with this stand, I don't think you can because this is not that heavy and hula hoop is heavier. You can do it with a huge and much sturdier balloon stand (the round one) and it will be good. Thank you and have a nice day.

Do you think you can make it more sturdier for outdoor use using a paver/ stepping stone by using gorilla tape to attach the plate to the stone??? I am thinking about trying this for my granddaughter Birthday party in a couple of weeks

Hello Angela, I think you can. You can even use the glue gun from your plastic plate to the paver. But before you do it. You may try one first just to see if it works and if not you can try the gorilla tape. But I think the glue gun will work. Thank you.
