Very cool! 😏 Just a thought on your magnet idea. My suggestion is a magnet on the bottom of the shot glass and a magnet on the bottom of your hole. The ones that are about the size of a nickel. I’m going to have to make one of these! Lol!
@TheDadCave
@TheDadCave 4 жыл бұрын
That’s a very good idea! I was thinking absolutely about trying something like that for any I make in the future. I haven’t gotten a chance to try any new designs yet but I am thinking about doing another shot ski video with improvements to the magnets like you mentioned. Thank you so much for the feedback. If you haven’t subscribed yet I hope you do. If you did, I’m glad to have you on board!

I think you made a nice shot ski. Not clear on what a Shot Ski is or what it does, how it is used. I get that it has to do with drinking. This is the first one I have seen. I found your helpful tips on how you did stuff, how do you store and organize your templates? I will have to go look up info on shot skis and educate myself. Keep uploading, you have a fun channel!

I didn’t know what they were either before I got requests to make them. Apparently, they are popular at weddings. You place a shot glass in each hole and then four people stand next to each other and lift the ski to drink the shot. I always drank my shots from a bar!

@@TheDadCave THANKS, that explains a lot! thank you so much. It seems to be a way of expressing yourself in a new home for the memory of the wedding. I always drank my shots from a bar as well. Not that it happens often at all. We managed to do the simultaneous shot sitting next to each other at a bar. wow I have to go a nearly a half a decade back to remember doing shots.

one more question, do you sand the inside of the holes? if so, how?
@TheDadCave
@TheDadCave 3 жыл бұрын
I did sand them. I just took a small piece of sand paper and folded it. Then slid it inside the holes with my fingers. I wish I could say I had some high tech tool or gadgets to do it but I don’t. Just my primitive caveman fingers! Haha!
