Black screen needs to be modus operandi for positive habit transfer, so you don't forget when your computer is back at the hotel and you accidentally share your credit card details and everything else with the cleaning crew and everyone staying with you. Any time you cannot see the computer you are connecting to, and there is not a person on the other end that you are helping, use black screen. NOT blacking the screen needs to be the exception and what you accidentally forget to do until reminded.

I haven't finished setting up my office space so it's a very rudimentary camera and light setup until I do.

If only it would stay logged in, it would be useful for remote access. With this you will have to drive back after every reboot.

Where is the section where you show what each person has to actually do to connect to one another? What do I do? What do I have my customer do? Did I miss that part?

This isn't a guide video? It's a review. Also just like most other remote desktop software, the client has a device ID and password, the controller needs to enter those to control them. It's literally right on the startup screen of the application. www.anyviewer.com/manual.html
