I am using regular red heart purple yarn and the adult size is coming out very small. Do you think maybe with regular yarn more increases would be ok or would that mess the pattern up? TIA.

Good pattern for my little grand-nephews and myself. I really prefer thick, warm, winter hats. I forget that the 3rd back bar can be used for stitches. Makes a nice texture. Thanks Michael
