Hi Archna,nice presentation.I am your huge fan from Pune city. Traditionaly you need to open the modak from top and then pour ghee(clarified butter) on it. Once its gets mixed up with the jaggery and coconut feeling..it gives amazing taste. Happy Ganesh chturthi :)

normal temperature anyways you're going to boil the water in the pan.. so its better if its normal temperature :)
