Adding tomatoes before potatoes is a rookie mistake. Tomatoes don’t allow potatoes to cook properly and they’re always left hard.

Nope, You only need some extra whistles to cook potatoes. I prefer adding tomatoes first always because they NEED to get mushy first and i hate when they remain as pieces and dont let out their juices (when added at last)
