I am very happy that Easy Language has now included Vietnamese. I have been watching Easy languages for Spanish and French for over a year now. I am a Vietnamese-Chinese American and have been trying to find a good place to sharpen my Vietnamese again. I like the fact that you get some northern and southern accents. I like the host but I think this series is a bit advance for beginners. Vietnamese is my mother tongue and Chinese, my father tongue and I had a hard time keeping up. Nonetheless, can't wait to see the next episode.

That's interesting. Easy Languages now produces Easy Vietnamese. Just amazing and I love it. Ms Quynh got clear voice and confidence but probably the pace needs to be slow down a bit. It may be better, if you have more simple topics for the first episodes. It will be helpful for beginners. Alright, Nice video, mate. Looking forward to seeing more Easy Vietnamese to come.

wow we have Easy Vietnamese!! the host is really friendly and confident, but she needs to prepare her thoughts more and express them more smoothly, and avoids using redundant words to make it easier for the learners. The pronunciation is already good, but the word "dân" sounds pretty much like "dưn", or not? Many thanks to the team!

Vũ Jean Interesting. Until recently most of my experience of the Vietnamese language was via movies by Trần Anh Hùng where people speak much, much slower.
@vujean86709 жыл бұрын
***** I am really, really sorry to tell you this. I honestly am. But there is a reason the Vietnamese movies/tv shows are hated by most people from its own country. They suck, the plots suck, the characters suck and the dialogues most definitely suck too. Lines in VNese movies are a lil corny (sometimes unbearably so if you pick the wrong movies). Characters speak in an exaggerated manner, sometimes you wouldn't find those speaking manners in real life. Yeah. Sorry. (But I want to STRONGLY emphasize that not all movies are like this, some are really great. If you are a learner you probably found good ones. But it's wise to consult the Internet or ask for a Vietnamese's recommendation) (Sorry for the long rant, I got carried away)
@boabysands1239 жыл бұрын
Vũ Jean Thanks for the tip. I have only seen Trần Anh Hùng's movies and maybe one or two others, almost all of which I really enjoyed. But his films are more arthouse and not everyone's cup of tea. I did hear that some Vietnamese people find the language in his films very different to the Vietnamese of the country now.

I guess 2 people pushed "dislike" because they are jealous about his hot girlfriend :) But her boyfriend talked more than her , so I couldn't enjoy her accent enough.... Well, let's move to a more serious comment . I think the talking speed of the reporter is OK ( unlike some other comments who asked for slowdown). I'm still a beginner in Vietnamese , I was looking for a video in which I can hear how native speakers of different generation ( old and young ) talk in a natural tempo and with a regional accent, for example Southern Saigon accent ( since many tutorial videos for foreigners talk in standard Northern Vietnamese ). @huuphuoc1498 жыл бұрын
We use "mình" like a pronoun "you" to talk in a friendly way, which is extremely used for interviewing and almost appears in southern area , it differs from "mình" for "we" the same to talk in a friendly way and for "I" talking to your friends daily, regardless of interviewing or reporting.
