This is so cute! I like the way you make it so approachable for those of us new artists 😉. I have used the Strathmore cards and always have a problem with them drying too fast. I figured it was just my inexperience, so I was certainly intrigued to see how they worked for someone who knows what they’re doing. Now I don’t feel so bad. Thank you 😂. Last year I decided to try just some card blanks from Amazon. Ohuhu. Honestly, they work very similar to the Strathmore cards and I actually think I prefer them over the Strathmore and they are definitely more economical. If I have a picture that is going to take more water or fussing, I paint it on Arches and then attach it to my Blank Card front. I've made 4 of your tree Christmas cards, and it is a real struggle to get a nice smooth wash. No touching allowed after you get the paint down and wet on wet for me, as I don’t work as fast. And you are absolutely correct, that the blemishes or imperfections disappear with embellishments 😁. Thank you for your awesome tutorial!
