True drifting is using weight transfer to reduce load on the rear wheels or inertia to overcome the grip. You can truly drift a FWD car like this. Even though this isn’t that, it’s still good fun. If you’re watching this video, chances are you love cars so why are you hating on someone who is having fun with them?

SweetCandy5869 I took some trays from my work and nah, too much friction it didn't work well. Stick to plastic trays
@stinkyfungus6 жыл бұрын
Won't work. The reason the plastic trays work so well is that HDPE plastic has a very low friction coefficient. On a molecular level, the material is very slick, and maintains that property as it ablates off. I was doing this trick befor most of you were born. The only thing that works better than fast food trays is home made custom 12" x 18" pucks of 1" thick HDPE sheet that you Screw 1/4" plywood to, and then epoxy sand paper to the ply. The stuff is so slick your tires will slide off the HDPE pucks, so you need to put the wood backer on it with the sand paper to grip your tires. The only glue that will reliably stick to HDPE plastic is a 3M product that has a 6month shelf life and costs 100 bucks a tube. They last like 5x as long as fast food trays. And you can re use the backer boards, just zing it into another HDPE puck with 3/4" wood screws.

A better way to achieve a similar effect is to get PVC pipes the same diameter of ur tires, deflate ur rear tires and jack ur car up, put the PVC pipe over your tires and re inflate them so ur tires are snug to the pipe.
