This looks so yummy! Still don't get why the phytoestrogen in tofu worries so many people but the actual estrogen and progesterone in dairy is ok. Thanks for posting

Short and simple! It was based on lies from the Dairy Association to stop the Soy (Milk, Butter…) Industry from taking ground from them.

I made this for dinner and it was sooo delicious! I had all the ingredients at home! Thank you for sharing. I will be making this dish in the future! Steaming the tofu helps softens its texture and the sauce over it is😋! My tofu has been in the fridge for wks and it still came out tasty.

I use organic firm tofu the best Cut in cubes and I use chill sweet sauce on top like marinated 😋 My issue with tofu is bloated as it made from soy beans 🫘
It’s firm, from what I can tell, but this would work with less firm. Silken is probably too soft.

Hmm, it depends on culture and eating habit. Actually, you can eat fresh tofu, but it is too risky because fresh tofu is vulnerable to microorganism like mold, so you must cook it (fry or steam it). In my country, most of tofu is cooked or steamed.

@@D_food Ah, I did not know about the mold. What's the difference between regular tofu and fresh tofu? I've found both kinds in my local Asian supermarket and they're both packaged with water, but I've only eaten regular tofu.

No need to press the water out, after the tofu is steamed then discard the excess water, if it's not clear you can watch the video. Thank you.
