It may be good to add that before one tests the cells to check their respective specific gravity, they should ensure that the battery is fully charged via whatever means is available to them - solar or grid.

Please I have a question. There are voltage and current setting options on the inverter and charge controller. As it is necessary for each battery charging stage to maintain the appropriate voltage & current in order not to overcharge (fry) or undercharge the batteries. How do we know the parameters (voltage & current) to set for each battery setup (Lead Acid 24V, Lead Acid 48V, Lithium 12V, GEL 48V, e.t.c).

You will need 15 units of 96 volts equalizer and 1 unit of 48 volts equalizer and do continuation connection to ensure that equalizers communicate with each other.

Yeah its not a bad idea if the batteries electrolyte is weak , but if you get it wrong the battery is gone . So it has to be handled by real professionals because of the specific gravities. It has to be exact and make sure the electrolyte is mixed with distilled water not tap water.

Thank you for reaching out , you can test the battery in any state it will always tell you the state of charge of the battery. But if the battery is fully charged and you test and its hovering on the top end of the red then your battery cells might have a problem.
