How do you measure alkalinity?

I’m slightly colorblind and usually screw up the test strips and taking samples to be checked can be a pain. This sounds like it would be very handy

I can not get the chlorine to read on the app. We have tested with the strips and there is chlorine in the pool. This is the second monitor that we have tried. Is there something we are supposed to do to calibrate the chlorine reader? What is the difference between the packets and the containers of solution when you are calibrating.

Mine worked once I calibrated it with the various solutions. The packets are the same thing as the solutions, so when you run out you can use the packets to refill them. Otherwise I am not sure what would be going on.
