The krooked grind way of explaining how to stay in the bowl for 5-0s is such a good tip. Thanks!

@@ZackDowdy it worked! I thought this trick would be out of my skill level forever but, it feels so stable now! Even on the 2 foot of transition I practiced it on haha. I am stoked! Someday will work it up to bigger spots

Good video. Great advice on carving. And rolling in. Great tips, I'm 58, been sk8ing since I was a teenager, had my years off the board but videos like this make heaps of sense.

What you said about the water fall is spot on. Whenever I go straight down the water fall my feet slip. When I carve the gravity forces my feet to the board

Tip for rolling in to go parallel and not straight was really nice

Getting smiths to come in on steep transition and pool coping please, I tend to hang up on them I can stand up 5-0 and front fifty in bowls, but the smiths go to disaster

Yesss nice one Zack, awesome tutorial mang! My gut dropped at the roll in off the coping, so that's the next step I want to conquer. Niccceee one for the tips. Hamish

Thabks Zack! Sick park. My new local in Nipomo has an awesome bowl but its all steep with vert and deep is like 10ft so lil harder to learn on. Guess I need to check out some other locals with mellower transition to learn 💕👍

Great video! Need tips on how to get over the hanging up mental block. I have mostly skated street but would love to get into transition. Hanging up on rock fakies and other tricks scares me.

Thanks Zack! What kind of skates would you recommend for bowls? I have a penny skate and was thinking about getting a longboard. But would recommend a regular skate?
